Member Diet

FooDB automatically tracks what you eat, how you exercise, your weight, and your sicknesses by day. You simply select the following links or Quick Links to the right and record each activity during the day. The Foodb system automatically records which hour of the day that you ate, exercised, and felt ill based on Mountain Standard time. It also estimates calories you ate, calories you burned exercising, calories you burn naturally per day, and the net weight gain or loss for the day (all estimates).

On your handheld device, such as a web enabled cell phone, like a Blackberry, there is a menu to record foods eaten and other diet activities whenever and whereever you are as long as you have internet access.

Your daily diet journal may be displayed in two formats; either by 32 allergy-free components or by calories and fat.

When calories or allergy properties for the food item you are eating has been entered separately in the food lists on Foodb it will show up automatically on your diet journal or grocery list.

If a member makes a change to one of your grocery list items, indicating it is no longer gluten-free (or any of 32 other allergen-free options) then you will be able to see that change on your grocery list before you buy it. It is important that you as a member help other members by updating the food list database when you find incomplete or changed information. It is easy to do at Add to Food DB.

Foods Eaten Use this link to record what you eat during the day

Calories Eaten Use this link to record calories eaten when you know the exact calories. You may still use Foods Eaten rather than this, so that you have a record of allergens in the foods. You may also use this if the food you are eating is not in the database.

Exercise Record your daily execises and how long you did them.

Sickness Record the time of day you are sick to help compare it with what you previous ate.

Weigh in Record your daily weight.
